Speed ​​and comfort

The Quad Count Live instantly detects the position and barcode when the SMD roll is placed over the loading drawer. This results in faster cycle time and, with the new advanced level of automation, allows full roll positioning tracking and automatic label printing after roll unloading.

Process quality

The camera provides excellent live feedback before counting thanks to its advanced barcode reading quality. The operator does not have to worry about mix-ups as the feature also detects changes in roll position.

In addition, this new hardware also directly controls the label printer after each roll is removed.

Features, options

Customers can choose between a cost-effective 2.3MP camera or an upgrade to a 5MP camera for even greater convenience and speed. Customers who already benefit from an XRHCount system can upgrade it in the field with the Quad Count Live retrofit.

The Quad Count Live can work in a “single coil counting” process and can even count four 7″ SMD coils at the same time. The cycle time of X-ray counting and barcode scanning for a single roll is less than 8 seconds. When using the quad count option, four SMD rolls are also counted within 8 seconds. This corresponds to a cycle time of 2 seconds per coil.
